I had thought about this before I had the mods done and did not think about it until the question came up on AA.

Has anyone used a 100+ changer with the modified Art DAC?

Yes. I had a 200 disc Kenwood changer> DIP > Bolder modded Art Di/O.
There is nothing better than parking my butt on the sofa and letting the good times role. This DAC sounds great in this set up. Then I started looking at daisy chaining changers and had a better idea.
I bought a home theater computer , the RKR Cassini from digitalconnection.com.
Musicmatch Jukebox is way more flexible than a changer. I use an M Audiophile sound card as the digital out. I also use a plug in called DFX which actually sounds better than listening to the CD from my computers drive.
Either way should be fine.
