i only have 1 decent pair of cables now so i figured i would give these a shot.aural thrills gold wire for cd to pre now and will use this from pre to amp.

Is anyone familiar with this company or the cables? I need a pair of IC's and was planning on ordering Outlaw PCA's, but this looks like a great deal for silver. Maybe too good?

mas is now camelot technology. i've never used these cables, but they were supposed to be good.

Stu has quite a following over on A'gon. His cables are considered quite a bargain. He also has a signature line which is a copper/silver IC, I think they are $80-$85. They list on A'gon frequently as well.

From my understanding, Stu used to make cables for quite a few high end companies. He now is on his own, making cables out of Florida.

I'm glad you did, the Outlaw PCA cables are $50/1.2m pair, so silver for $60 is a damn good price.

if you have a tube cd you have to try these silver ic's-the sound i'm getting is very nice

I put the silver ICs in on 2/5, the first pair from my CD player to preamp and the second pair between the preamp and the main L/R inputs on my power amp. The cables have 12-16 hours on them now, most of it just for background and casual listening, but so far I'm pretty happy with them. When I get a chance I want to swap them around with some Outlaw PCA IC's to determine what the differences (if any) are.

I agree, they sound quite nice, very detailed. After seeing this threade I had to check them out. I e-mailed Stuart and within a minute I got a phone call at my office from him, talked to him for all of 2 minutes, sent the paypal, and I got a usps confirmation within 15 minutes after that. As far as customer service, unparralled IMHO.

The MAS cable he's using is 10 - 12 years old and is left over from the close of MAS. He told me he discovered he had reels of the stuff a couple years (?) ago and that's why he can offer it so inexpensively. The only potential problem I see with it is that it's stranded, with the minor degree of harshness that comes with that. Probably my by-now-tin ears won't hear that and I"ll love the sound of the pair I ordered. Other lengths are available, at $15/pair-foot extra. He'll make shorter cables too, but the minimum charge is $60 per pair.

As others have said, excellent service via telefone.
