Has anyone used the Asus Pundit-R?  I am seriously thinking of trying one as my audio front-end.  If I did it, I'd put a drive array in a closet, and run ethernet over to the Asus with the soundcard.

The only thing I didn't like when I looked at it is the NOISE LEVEL.  I think I can fix that with a different fan.  

Does anyone know if a PCMCIA hard drive is bootable?  I'd love to have a hard driveless box, and this ASUS has a PCMCIA slot!

You can also boot to a USB dongle in some situations.
Depends on if the BIOS supports it.

We use one as a recovery tool for some of our newer HP servers.
