I bought a new TV for the man cave 55 inch TCL/Roku for around $400. It's a 4K TV and was my first experience with Dolby Vision. Have you noticed at the end of the credits in a lot of new movies they have a credit for Dolby Atmos + Vision? Well on netflix they have a little dolby icon so you can spot that content when available. You won't see that icon without a dolby vision capable display.
I started streaming netflix TV shows that had dolby atmos+vision and was blown away that the atmos streaming was soooo much better than 5.1.
Watching Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Dolby Vision format was almost like looking through a window. The detail and the costumes/makeup were so much more lifelike than 1080P.
I noticed more and more 4K content available on amazon too.
Setting up a room for atmos is NOT expensive or difficult, although it can be if you are so inclined. If you are streaming movies today take advantage, it is SOOO much better than 5.1/1080P and NOT expensive or difficult (unless you want to go that route

).
