Well, the AC-4 are arriving to their users and others are considering them.

Feed-back has been quite good.

There are, and will be questions, so you if you have any, feel free to post them here.

One of the main questions I have had to answer is, "How many AC-4 will my system need"?

The immediate answer is as many to have sufficient outlets for all the components you wish to condition with the AC-4.

I might think a simple 2 channel system would only need a single AC-4.

However if you have "separates" preamp, amps, and more than a couple source components you might benefit with 2 units.

If you have a Home Theater System, then you might look to a couple units.

If you again, have HT separates, you will immediately start needing outlets.  I would suggest counting them up, and moving forward accordingly. 

And I just started using the AC-4 in my systems and one component many might not think of is your PROJECTOR or FLAT SCREEN.

For best results, these should be run on the high amperage socket, and you may find the improvement in picture quite beneficial.  I immediately noticed deeper, more vivid and solid colors, as well as much more precision to all the image borders.

I also have Blue ray disc and media player, (a NEW replacement for the now unavailable OPPO player) an Android Internet Application Device (called NVIDIA SHEILD), and several amps, so needless to say with the PrePro, all the source devices, and several amps, I am down for at least 2 of the AC-4.

We have also OK'd "individual participating dealers", to offer a "courtesy price", to those who purchase 2 or more at a time.

We are planning other models such as
AC4E   - for 4 low power sensitive preamp/DAC/source devices
AC4P   - for 4 high power amp devices
But it will take at least 3 months to produce these, due to various mechanical parts and chassis schedule in the supply chain.

Power = AC voltage x Current
For example, if you have a 20W low power device, then Current = 20W / 110V   (or 220V depending on where you live)
So 3A is more than sufficient.  Most manufacturers don't spec the power consumption for components because it is not a fix value, but you can guess from the fuse.  If the fuse is 1A, the normal power usage is much less.

Trigger AC-4

Hello Rusty,
I have connected my Dac-10 and ST-10 to the AC-4.
How do I correctly wire the devices if the trigger is to be used?
Unfortunately, I do not find any information on this.
I assume the following order:
1. DAC-10 trigger out to AC-4 trigger in.
2. AC-4 trigger out to ST-10 trigger in.
Does the order of the power cables matter?
What order is recommended?

Does anyone use the trigger of the AC-4?
How does it work?

Thanks to Nuprime Support for solving the puzzle:

"The trigger is typically used with a home control system like Control4, etc.
Where the trigger has activated PureAC4 and then switches on all connected devices
So if you don't have such a system, don't worry about the trigger "

A description in the instructions for use would certainly be very helpful for the customer.
The regulations in Europe are somewhat strict in this regard.
I have to confess that I may have killed an AC-4 due to the lack of information.

The service from Audium Berlin Germany was exemplary. 

For the customer who cannot use Control4, an on and off switch would definitely be a good solution !!????

Because the AC-4 is also constantly in stand-by mode.
