For sale is a pair of PMC FB1+ speakers in cherry finish. Rather than me stumbling through a description of these speakers, I hope you'll read the excellent Positive Feedback review linked here:
https://positive-feedback.com/Issue25/pmc_fb1.htm. The review is significantly important to this pair as they are the exact speakers in the review. They were purchased from the reviewer who bought them after the review and used them for several years.
From my point of view, they sound extremely good, especially with lower powered amps. I used them with a Musical Fidelity (125 watt) solid state amp, my trusty Cairn (30 watt) solid state integrated amp and a vintage Fisher KX90 (18 watt) integrated tube amp. To my ears, the Cairn was the winner.
While there are a few scratches here and there, physical condition is excellent for speakers of this age. Check the pics out to verify this.
I no longer have the original boxes for the speakers so I would much prefer a local sale. I'd be willing to drive 100 miles or so to deliver or meet a buyer if needed. If you are local, I'd be happy to demo the speakers. I say I Prefer a local buyer, but I can build boxes as good as the originals for the speakers if shipping is necessary. If shipping is needed, I'll split the cost.
As for trades, I'd be willing to trade for a quality amp. Reasonable offers welcome, especially from local buyers.
