New AudioCircle member and Omega Super 8XRS owner

Hi everyone, just bought a pair of 8XRS'
They'll be a dedicated music room with treatments in a digital/ analog system. Laptop, to Bryston DAC, to Decware Rachael. I'm downsizing from beautiful Cornwall II's. Any other 8XRS owners out there? I'd be interested in your opinions on placement distances. Rear and side walls. And use of the nerf ball to dampen the rear port.

Usually speakers placement depend on the room size.

PS:  Just for clarification, Omega 8 XRS are "monopole" not "dipole" speakers.
