Ric,

Congrats on the new products that you are offering!  The VMPS ribbon speakers and Acoustic Reality eAR amps are probably some of the best products for less-than-ungodly prices available.  If I were in the market for speakers today I'd certainly get the 626R with upgraded caps and walnut cabinets.  As for the eAR, well, I love the amp and am not even considering getting another amp.  So far, I don't know of anyone that has listened to the combination of VMPS ribbon speaker + eAR amp.  

I've been very curious about your modded digital products for quite a while.  I think my next digital component will be a universal player -- I've been itching to replace my Cary 303/100 (now used as a transport) and I'm looking forward to your listening impressions of the modded Pioneer 45A/47Ai.  Do you think you may be modding a Yamaha SD2300 any time soon?  Seems like it has the best audio performance -- when stock -- among the the universal players (though I have not heard it yet).

I agree that Ric makes a very good product for a fair price. In my experience he sometimes can over promise. He has good intentions as a designer , but poor acumen as a business man. Long delivery times, not responding to e mails or phone messages , and unkept promises regarding future upgrades may haunt you.
