I made/use a homebrew outlet strip with two Eagle hospital grade receptacles (4 outlets all I need) in a 2 receptacle box and use LAT International AC-2 6' cable to connect them with to wall. It already had nice Marinco plug on it, so all I need was to take off the IEC plug portion and tie it into the receptacles.
Beats me if it sounds any better than anything else out there, but it didn't cost me but $150.00 for all ($125.00 for the AC-2 wire).
I do know that by changing out standard wall receptacles to these same Eagle hospital units (in two houses now) had good effect on sound, so I assume there was some improvement by going to hospital grade receptacles in outlet strip. I use the same LAT wire elsewhere in my system, and I have found it great. It is well shielded and 10ga. silverfused copper, so I think this is most of where it's benefits lie.
