I need to thin the number of amps I have so I putting my Folsom amp up for sale. I built it about a year ago and I have had a Folsom amp in my system for a few years now and have been very happy with how they sound and this one sounds better than the first one I build with the upgraded caps and the AnTek power transformer.

The case is the Galaxy 3U with aluminum covers with anti-vibration feet from diyAudio store. Transformer is an Antek AS-2218 - 200VA 18V with the steel cover for shielding. All wire is silver plated teflon.  Caps are Jantzen Audio 1.5uF 800V Z-Superior Capacitor. Furutech FI-06(G) 15A/ 250V, Audio Grade Pure Copper AC Inlet, 24k Gold-plated. Neutrik RCAs. Cardas CCGR S Binding Post.

It has normal wear and tear. I mounted aluminum angle on the bottom to reenforce the chassis because of the weight of the transformer.

Looks good. Wish I could hear it before I build mine. The pcb's are sitting ideal waiting for me to get busy.

I updated the post. The chassis is the Galaxy 3U with aluminum covers and anti-vibration feet. Not the 4U chassis.

Folsom,

Thank you. I have really enjoyed the amp. If it wasn’t for the fact that I have to make room I would never let it go.

You could do the little upgrade by creating a gap between each binding post. I'm surprised it's not gone already. You probably can't even buy all the parts for $500, that you see here.
