To be clear for @grannying, here's a quote from the forum rules for posting classified ads: "Please update your item listing when it is sold by modifying the title of the original post.  Do not erase the ad.  Old ads help other sellers set a selling price."

Thanks all. Sometimes there are reasoned and sound considerations for wanting an ad to be deleted. Rare, but nevertheless good reasons. Not possible here, but thanks for the posts.
