Audio new guy

I the last couple years I have been bitten by the vinyl / vintage audio bug and as the illness has progressed, moved into separates and higher end speakers. I enjoy researching products and this site continued to pop up so here I am. Thanks to all who post on here for the great info!

Just one question for all of you. Do you ever find the perfect sound? I fear that is impossible but it is fun trying.

In 1992 I ordered an Carver Amazing Silver Ed I was so impressed with this speaker 3D soundstage and real life image even today I fell disgust when I listen hi-end speakers that emit sound only to front(monopole), there was something special in the reverb time in this speaker that is addictive to the human brain.
I really missing them.
