The UFO was very enjoyable to build, and help me determine that yes, I am running a little slow!  

Assembly was very straight forward.  Since I am not an EE, I only wish there was a little more of a written description of how the components work schmatically, for example, what is programmed in each of those IC's and how do they integrate with the crystal?

Now to figure out how to build a variable frequency power supply for my Thorens to correct the speed...
