For your consideration a pair of Von Schweikert VR 5/7 loudspeakers in excellent condition.  They function flawlessly.  The finish is black oak.  These speakers were purchased new as VR4 but were upgraded to VR 5/7 technology in 2004.  The cost for the upgrade was $2,400.  Documentation provided.  Asking $2,500 but will consider reasonable offers.  Pickup preferred but willing to ship at buyer's expense.  Original boxes and contents included.  Cash, Paypal and cashier's check accepted only.

I have a pair just like them.  They are fantastic.   A few years ago I went on a hunt to find any $8,000-$12,000/pr of speakers which sounded better.  Listened to many, but found nothing better.   Albert Von Schweikert told me that if he were to put these into production again, with their high cost cabinet, that he would have to charge at least $11,000-$12,000/pr.  And that was about 5 years ago.  Would probably be higher now.
