I have decided to sell my VTL ST-150 tube amp.  It is excellent condition throughout.  I bought this from my local VTL dealer and still have the original box and manual. Fresh octet of Tung-Sol 6550 output tubes, along with a new pair of Tung-Sol 12AT7's and a NOS pair of 6350's.  No issues.  This amp sounds great and is built like a tank.  Very heavy and built to last.  It can be run in Triode with around 70 watts/channel or Tetrode producing 150 watts/channel of power.  This is a very powerful tube amp that never seems to run out of steam, yet still providing that seductive midrange us tube guys love.  I had it paired with my Joule Electra preamp and Genesis Advanced Technologies speakers.  I will ship the amp in the original box and packing, double boxed with the VTL box inside another outer box for further protection. $2500 buys it.  Shipping should run around $100 due to the weight, insurance and double boxing. I've never had a minutes problem with it and this amp will surely impress you.  It has always been in a smoke/pet free home.

Nice amp and looks to be in great shape.   Unfortunately, due to back problems I can no longer lift more than 45-50 pounds.  Getting old is hell.

GLWS.  Someone is going to get a high quality amp.

Thanks Tom.  Lifting it and moving it around is not for the faint of back.  The build quality really has to be seen in person to appreciate, not to mention how it sounds. It's like two amplifiers in one.  Tetrode mode gets the most use, but switching over to triode is nice for acoustic music or low level listening.  Just selling it to stir up some cash for the upcoming holidays.  I have several systems at the moment, so time to move some gear.
