Panasonic PT-AE8000U ****SOLD***
« on: 11 Nov 2018, 01:32 am »
Hello,

For sale is a lightly used Panasonic PT-AE8000u, with all of the original accessories, and two pairs of Panasonic 3D glasses.  Shipment will be done using the original double boxed packing materials.   Its been ceiling mounted in a smoke free, dedicated HT room environment since the day it was opened, and has 520 mostly low lamp hours (less than 5 high lamp hours from testing brightness in the initial calibration during the first week of ownership) on it.  The lamp is rated for 4000 hrs in high mode, 5000 hrs in eco mode.  The projector was too bright for my 48" CIH setup (100" diag @ 1.78, 128"  diag @ 2.40 ), so I set it to eco and kept it at that for all viewing.  Exclusively used to watch HD bluray & 3D movies, and the occasional HDDVD.  The unit was bought in 2016.

The specs/throw distances can be found at https://www.projectorcentral.com/Panasonic-PT-AE8000.htm, and a review of the unit shortly after its release is at:  https://www.projectorcentral.com/panasonic-ae8000_projector_review.htm .   If you want to do a budget CIH setup & don't need UHD, the AE8000u is probably going to be a pretty good fit.

The only mark I could see on the projector was a light scratch on the bottom that must have happened when mounting it to the ceiling, otherwise it looks new.  One of the attached pictures is of the scratch, but it was pretty hard to get a clear view of it.

Price:  $650 plus shipping from 33470, and paypal fees if that is the form of payment used.

Let me know if you have any questions, or want more information about the projector.

Thanks.
