Hi there,

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I'm in Seattle now and have enjoyed appreciated high quality audio for a long time. Recently, I have acquired a few more pieces and look to maybe get another pair of speakers as well. Looking forward to hearing all of your thoughts! My current setup is:

Speakers: Ascend Acoustics Sierra Towers and Horizon Center with RAAL
Amplifier: Line Magnetic 805ia Integrated 48W per channel
Receiver: Anthem MRX 510
Transport: Oppo 105D
DAC: PS Audio Directstream Junior
Sub: Hsu Research VTF3 Mk5

I am looking for a speaker that is not harsh in the higher frequencies but still has enough sparkle and snap that doesn't give up anything in terms of detail. The ability to deliver some low end, dynamic punch is something that I would be looking for as well as this is the one area the Ascend's lack in currently.

The speakers that I am thinking about are the...

Magico A3
Salk Soundscape 8
Dynaudio Contour 60
Joseph Audio Perspectives
ProAc D48R
Focal Sopra 2

They have to knock my socks off compared to the Ascend's though and that may be a tough goal!
