B60 internal phono stage specs
« on: 24 Oct 2018, 02:51 am »
I’ve looked around for the specs on my B60’s phono stage, but I’m a bit confused. I’ve looked at the B60 brochure on the website and don’t know what to make of it. I saw something about being able to change the gain on the BP-26 and BP-1.5’s MM sections, but I don’t know if any of the specs are applicable to the B60’s board. Am I correct in assuming the B60 uses the same MM board as the BP-26 and/or BP-1.5?

For reference, I’m running a Dynavector 10x5 (not the current mk2), which is a High Output MC. Here’s the specs, from Dynavector’s website:

Output voltage: 2.5 mV
Impedance: 150 ohms
Recommend load impedance: > 1k ohms

I can supply additional specs, but I’m not sure which ones are relevant.

If I can change gain, which setting would be optimal? Then again, what’s the factory preset gain if changeable? Last question, if I can change it, how do I do it?

Thanks!
