Any thoughts on this phono preamp or any other USB capable phono preamps? I have KEF LS50 Wireless speakers and the added USB and extra inputs can come in handy. I also have a Node 2 and would rather connect that to the only analog connection on the KEFs for full MQA capability. Am I giving up much in sound quality to other phono preamps in a similar +200ish range? Also,I have a leftover Shunyata Venom USB in my stash but it would need an USB A female to USB B adapter. Will an adapter be a bad move over just getting another cable?
My turntable is a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC Esprit w/Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. I'll probably be upgrading the cartridge on it next with something like an Ortofon Blue.
