SOLDFor Sale: Exogal Comet DAC/Ion Amplifier “Power DAC”. These are actually two separate units with proprietary technology from Exogal. The former Wadia guys. The Comet DAC comes with the upgraded power supply. The Ion is an Amplifier (and works only with the Comet). No need for a preamp with these – the Comet handles that function. When connected together they create the “Power DAC”. The Comet also has an analog input to connect a turntable. This is an amazing combination.
Reason for selling: Have decided to sell my entire system and go with something more “cheap and cheerful”. Fact is, I very seldom listen to my system nowadays so have decided to sell things. Consequently, these pieces are in mint condition and have received very light use. They’re roughly two years old but were boxed for over 8 months while we built a new house.
I’m asking $3995 for the pair. Retail on all 3 pieces is $7,350. They’ll ship in their two original boxes. I have two remotes for the Comet. Also note it has a smart phone Ap downloadable from the Exogal website. It works beautifully. I’ll pick-up Paypal fees and shipping costs at my asking price. They’ll ship from 54402.

Was hoping to sell all of my equipment as one system. It appears as though my Salk BEAT loudspeakers have been sold. I still have a PS Audio Memory player available at $1150 – I expect to be listing that soon.
