Hi there!

Hi All,
I've not heard of AudioCircle before, but I bumped into the site whilst searching for other peoples experiences of the KEF 104.2 speakers which I have been the owner of for a few years now.
I'm not new to HiFi being 50 years old I've been tweaking and building kit since my late teens. I have a degree in electronics and enjoy playing the cello, guitars and drums etc. Have even built my own Cello.

My KEFs have had the doughnuts replaced and I have replaced the ferro-fluid in the tweeters. I have slight concerns about mid-band neutrality and detail and feel there is potential for improvement.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had any direct experiences with attempting any crossover upgrades/regrades or any hints, tips and tricks to trim these guys into line.

Richard

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
