A terrific sounding piece of equipment. Danny's design, followed to a tee, complete with vampire connectors, sonicap upgrades, and no-rez.
As for the finish? Wellll.... a friend sold it to me, and I planned to paint or veneer it. Then my friends said, "This is Brooklyn. We like the industrial look better." So it's matte and a little edgy. If that's your thing, keep it. If not, a well-done coat would make this a furniture-grade piece. See photos below.
