The Rectilinear III was actually named the Lowboy, but the low, large, attractive cabinet form was quite popular in the day.

Radio Shack sold the Optimus 7 as it's totl speaker around 1980. Rarely seen, but loved by owners-

The Optimus reminds me a lot of the Altec Valencia
Another with a cult following today is Bozak
I would love to find room at my Inn for one of these venerable Grandfather Lowboys.
