The Electrovoice driver has too low of a Qts for an OB speaker.

The two Fane drivers look very similar to the Eminence Alpha 15A or Beta 15A only more expensive. I don't see any advantages.

My original recommendations still look good to me, better than the other drivers mentioned. Low cost and can be passive, design the system using BASTA.

Here a mesurement I made tonight between

15inch Siare NDH15-3 and 12inch Supravox 285gmf

Same baffle, same volume, same position ... same except the woofer.

I certainly have a short acoustic circuit. The fall in the bass is not normal and to the ear, the 15-inch sounds more hollow with more impact.

I would expect to see a difference in the measurements when this is not the case.

What I was looking for was to have a nervous and dynamic hp with a nice transparency and I find that with the supravox.

For bass, my test is inconclusive. I would have to work the acoustic short circuit to have something more credible at the bottom.
