Please made a user at Massdrop and vote at the Sennheiser HD800 survey to production, it will be named HD8XX, it is in first place now 2769 votes:

Please dont vote at the HD800S as it have even less bass than the regular HD800 and is more expensive MSRP $1,699.95 Freq Response 4 - 51,000 Hz (-10 dB)

Also dont vote at the HD650(3th place) with 800 looks/belt as it have small soundstage as is know and already exist a Massdrop version named HD6XX.

The HD650 box has a photo of an HD800  :scratch: There is no version of the HD650 that looks like an 800. It's a mistake. But yeah, that's a wasted vote, for something they already sell.

One of the rationales for the 800S was always supposed to be mo' bass (in addition to smoothing out the highs) so not sure that is correct.

I'm not buying ither but I am a massdrop member so thanks for the heads up

You dont need another planar.
The HD650 already was released.
You need a dynamic as HD800 to larger soundstage and lower price.
