How many working CD/DVD/Blu-ray/Sacd players do you have?

My count 9:
2- Sony sacd/dvd/universal players
1- Sony blu-ray/universal player
2- Panasonic dvd/universal players
1- Tascam cd/recorder/player
2- computer drives, one blu-ray that I can't get to work.

Streaming is a step backwards from the pursuit of being an audiophile, IMO. Someone however may come up with a practical solution to elevate streaming to audiophile standards.

Actually I've done that with recordings, elevate 'em to Hi-Fi standards. But it needs to done on the fly to be practical. The tech is not quite there yet.

I'm not going around counting, but pretty sure we have 4 dvd players, one of them is an Oppo so it's universal, and one dedicated cd player. I can say with surety none of the dvd players have been used in 5-6 years. The cdp hasn't been used quite a while either.

Except for movies, unless someone comes over, I almost never spin a disc.  I do have:

5 Oppo Players that do Blu-Ray and the rest of the formats
1 Oppo DVD Universal
1 Integra DVD Universal
1 Sony that does Blu-Ray and SACDs

Not that I use them all (I think one or two are not even connected).

I also have a Technics portable CD player that I took to work to listen to CDs. I killed 2 Sony portable CD players in the last couple of years.

Sony​ cd sacd used almost daily.... Sony cd DVD in a box... Sony DVD under the TV ready to use but don't.... too many cd software to give up....

1 cheap DVD player on my low priority AV system

All together they get used maybe 5 times a year.

Used to have a Sony XA-20ES CDP, but sold it after it spent years in the box and I have two Macs connected to my audio system with 4 external HDs for backup (2 are always rotated in and out of the safety deposit box).

One Sony Blu Ray for the living room TV, no clue what model.

I did just pick up an old JVC CD player. I've been all PC for the last 5 years, it's nice to just plop a disc in and push play for a quick listen.

My method has to do with sampling. There needs to be a way to measure the quality of a recording on the fly. If I over-sample a recording it can become sterile (stripped of harmonics) but depending on the recording it may need to be sampled 1 to several/times, I do this by ear, to do it on the fly needs some kind of recording measurement system so the dac knows when its good enough. Some recordings are garbage and can't be improved. Streaming sites the recordings I can assume are of reasonably good quality.

Second generation cheap Sony. Long gone
Philipps 880. nice died. Long gone
Sony 89ES  changer lasted a long time. finally died. Wish I had ten of them.
Adcom DA600 DAC and Rotel disc spinner
Sony SCD777ES put Rotel to shame, but sold Rotel anyway.
Still own the slower than molasses in January SCD777ES
You can take a nap before it finishes loading a disc.
Bought used Adcom DA700 Loved it for many years until got Marantz to do DAC duties.
Half dozen five disc changers use one of all the time to DAC only two currently functioning fully
(I fix one when I need to)
Another two Sony CD9 changers.
Sony SCD333 drawer stuck too lazy to see why.
