Thanks...Many of the CCR songs WERE penned by Fogerty, but that one wasn't. CCR's version at 11+ minutes was probably the LONGEST though! When I was much younger I was at my boss's apartment, we had both had a few beers. "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" by CCR started to play and he fell asleep sitting near his door (it was a cold night) I went out for a few minutes and left the door ajar. He woke up after a few minutes freezing and cussing me out, and "Grapevine" was still playing! Funny!    
well, I guess it lost something in translation...

I forgot I had this CD and had still never listened to it until today. I've only listened once, but it's not bad. I think I'll give it another shot in a couple of days and see if anything clicks....

I went to the "Long Road Home" tour a couple months ago...he did all of the old CCR stuff along with some new stuff (man can that guy play!). The whole band was top notch...great concert.

I just got the new Long Road Home CD and really like it 

Before that I only had a few older CCR K2 remasters, and none of the Fogerty solo stuff.  Being from the SF Bay Area I saw CCR several times during High School, they always put on a good show, but I stopped following them around 1971.
