Hello to the Audio Circle community!

What a wealth of knowledge on this board. It's an honor to interact with you folks!

My interest in audio/electronics began as a child. My (mentor) grandfather was an audio buff from the 1950's to 1980's and owned an electronics store.  In the late 80s/early 90s I sold electronics professionally at a privately-owned A/V retail store.  Our main lines were Pioneer, Denon, Bang & Olufsen, Energy, Infinity.  Music and tech are part of my DNA.

My current audio system consists of a Rogue Audio Atlas Magnum amp, Auralic Altair preamp/DAC, and Spatial Audio Hologram M4 Turbo S speakers. Starting a build with GR/Rythmik for my subwoofer.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of this forum, hope I can contribute!

I am in the USA. My user name is from a 1975-era automobile called the Chrysler Cordoba. It was promoted by a popular actor, Ricardo Montalban.

Montalban was excelent, one of the greats.
I asked why that area are cold beautiful mountains located in central Argentina>

I remember those commercials well. I never owned one, but I did own a ‘74 Monte Carlo with a landau roof for about two years.

Nice!  The Monte Carlo was exactly the target that Cordoba was after. Some trivia: in 1975, the Cordoba accounted for more than half of all Chrysler's sales. And mine has the original AM radio.

Proctor & Bergman (Firesign Theatre members) had a spoof of the Cordoba commercial on one of their albums: "If I drove this car in my country, I would be KIDNAPPED!"
