I prefered the sound of the original Silver iDSD so I kept it and passed the Black along to the next person on the tour.  The Silver is a crazy high oerformer.  I ran it in my system for years with $20,000 speakers as my main DAC.  Especially if combined with a Regen, the iDSD Silver plays with the big boys.
