Not so much "audiophilia nervosa" as the realization that a lot's changed in the last 10 (OK, to be honest, 15) years, which happily coincided with a bit of discretionary income. Mostly it's a matter of access to the music (Tidal feeding Sonos), though trying some different speakers (B&W 803s temporarily benched in favor of Soliloquys), adding a good DAC, and fooling with amplification choices.
