Hey Guys

Changing my system around yet again.  You don't see balanced tube buffers out there too frequently....and this is an amazing one!

XLR ins and outs plus PowerCon in for 12v power.  I'm including an iFi 12v power supply with adapter to use.....works amazingly well with the buffer.

Also includes are a pair of low-hour Upscale Audio Electro Harmonix 6H30Pi Platinum Cyro tubes.

$550 shipped in the U.S. for the combo.

Thanks
Jim

Hey Jeff!  The iFi comes w/ various adapter for numerous countries.  I've got the U.S. one on there, currently.

Is this from a diy kit or a manufacturer?
True balanced?
Output impedance?

Yes, true balanced....its two single-ended Dodd buffers, one for each channel.

Output impedance is a function of the tubes used....it is VERY low.

Made by TrungT a friend of Gary's and member of Audiocircle.

Here are a couple more pics  of the insides.  Sonicaps used with Sonicap bypasses.

Were you using this with other tube components os solid state?

How would you describe it’s effect.

Thanks

Mike

Sorry, didn't see this.  I was using it with solid state components, so it was the only tube component in my system.

It adds a certain tube "warmth" while not sacrificing detail.
