Ifi iphono2 board failures

Interested in getting an Ifi iphono2 but I've read reports of ongoing circuit board failures. Supposedly Ifi is addressing this. Would like to know if anyone has purchased an iphono2 in 2018 and if you've had any issues with it.

the one I bought in 2017 developed a hum and IFi fixed it. Not sure if it was a board failure, but might have been. Any way, it's fixed.

Is this problem isolated to only iphone2's built in 2018?

Not according to accounts on other boards all the way into last year.
Some people gave up after 3 replacements. Overheating problems was brought up.
I sold mine and I had a fairly expensive sBooster ps.
The vista 2 was better. Definitely!
