Is that a new remote for the BP26 ?
« on: 1 Jan 2005, 11:23 am »
Came across this link in one of the other forums - shows what looks like a new remote for the BP26 (maybe just the BP26DA?). James can you comment? Also, I have a BP25 with MPS-1 poweer supply. Are you still going to be offering a DAC upgrade for these and if so, will there be a cut-off date?

Much obliged.

HI,

The remote is the same as the BP25. I think the webmaster posted the new B100 SST remote by mistake for a few days.

How about the DAC upgrade James? Will it still be available for the BP25 (I have an MPS-1 power supply) and for how long?

This may not be the only slip-up by the webmaster.

I may have this wrong, but I recall that Mr Tanner described the BP26 as having the same features as the BP25.  However, the features as listed on the left side of the BP 26 preamplifiers page, seem rather different to the features of the PB25.

The BP25 has five RCA inputs, 2 XLR inputs, and two RCA outputs, and one XLR output, apart from tape inputs/outputs.

Does the webmaster have more work to do, or does the BP26 have less features than its predecessor?

Best Regards.
Brad

Hi,

Yes the DAC is available for the 25 and will continue to be so.

I will forward this to the webmaster about the diferences in listed features - thanks for pointing that out.

You might want to talk to them about the frequent non-functioning links, especially in the reviews section.
