Hello all, I have been interested in Hi-Fi for around 50 years. Only lately, though, have I gotten into DIY. I started by making my own cables and interconnects and then became interested in building speakers. Researching the internet i was led to SL and his OB designs which intrigued me to no end. I decided I wanted to build the LX Mini and found plans for a cheaper clone online from someone who seemed to know what he was doing. I went ahead and built them and thought the sound was some of the best I had heard. I immediately sold my KEF Q-900s as there was no comparison in SQ, and now I am hooked. This site provides some incredible information and I have been learning a lot. My next step is to build some larger OBs, as these LX Mini clones sound fantastic, but don't give me the SPL I want sometimes. And now that I am addicted, I have to build more anyway.
One problem I have run into on this site is that it won't let me do searches. Maybe it's because I haven't posted util now, I don't know. If anyone knows, I would appreciate the help. Thanks for a wonderful circle!
