Hi, was wanting to get a wireless Slim Devices Squeeze box
http://www.slimdevices.com/ so I can play all the mp3's on my computer on my main system. Main systems consists of:
BAT VK-3I - (circa 1957 Pope tubes)
Wadia 301
Aragon Palladium 1K mono amps
VMPS RM40 w/TRT's
I was wondering if the Squeezebox with an inexpensive outboard DAC (Art DIO or M-Audio 2496) would sound at all as good as the Wadia? I dont want to buy this stuff to find out its really inferior. Just wanting some opinions.
