Two Versions of Resident Evil Apocolypse?

By looking at my new BB flyer it looks like a reg and a directors cut.  Would they really both come out the same week?  And does the latter have stuff that wasn't in the theatrical release?

Nope, there's only one version of RE:2.

Stay off the crack and go visit your eye doctor...

Geez, what makes you think I can afford crack- or an eye doctor!   Anyway, I see now that one's the widescreen and the other is a pan & scan.

Uhhh, you sure 'bout that? I checked BB today (after you asked) and all they've got is WS copies. Everything I find online is WS only.

And if your BB ad is like mine, what's listed is RE:2 & RE (DE).

There anybody around your place with better eyesight?...

Did you see this movie? I liked the first, but have not seen this one. Is it better or worse that the first?

Worse... IMHO.  I'd rent it if you are still interested but its not one I would buy.  And I love the zombie movies.

I like the second one better, I think.  Both were good, but the hottie factor is pumped up a bit in Apocalypse.  No, not a hotter chick than Milla, but more hotties!   Also the soundtrack is better than the crappy Manson one in the first one.  The stunts & effects are more ambitious, too.

Unfortunately it's a different type of movie than the first one was. It's different enough of a movie than I was really disliking it the first time around (was expecting too much).

But after the second & third times I wasn't so annoyed by it. I still think the first was better.

At the very least you should give it a watching as it's a continuation of the first movie. Actually, some of it take place before the ending of the first movie.

You could go buy it at Costco, and take it back if you don't like it. Gotta love their 30 day return anything for any reason return policy...
