Selling my Spirit Labs MMXVI Series Headphones.
These headphones use Grado drivers in a custom machined aluminum and brass body engineered by Spirit Labs in Italy. They are well made and lift the Grado drivers to a much higher level due to their acoustically engineered casings. They have a very clear open sound with remarkable bass impact. For me the clarity is reminiscent of my AKG K1000s which I sadly no longer own. I am mostly listening to my speaker system these days and so am clearing out my headphones to fuel that pursuit.
I find them to be very comfortable head but are also somewhat substantial. These are more for dedicated listening at home that running on the treadmill. They have a high quality cable that is currently terminated with a 4 pin XLR connector. I can re-terminated them for you with a standard TRS plug or at the asking price I will include a 4 pin to TRS pigtail. They have seen very light use in a non-smoking home. The phones look great however the casings have a few minor visual imperfections from the custom machining.
These cost me ~$450 about two years ago. I am asking $325.
