Any ideas (or links) to boutique companies that design, build and/or sell guitar amps? A friend of mine is a bassist and he's looking for an "audiophile quality" guitar amp.

Lou Hinkley of Daedalus Audio got his start building guitar ~~amps~~ speakers 25 years ago.
