I just introduced this to my system last night.
WOW.
what a difference in ALL my digital sources (DVP and PC based).
I mean, not subtle either, but WOW.

i'll have a more in depth post about this later on after I play w/it some more.
But damn, i'm ultra impressed right out of the box.  I didnt think it would have such an impact on the dynamics, tone, soundstage and especialy image detail.....but it certainly did.  It was like adding an entirely different source into my system.

i'm going to benchmark it against a DIP upsampler...once I can find one used.
Should be interesting.  I hope the DIP holds up agaist this or esle I"m going to be $1500 poorer.

Hi,

I own a Big Ben & a Monarchy classic DIP (the new model without the upsampler). All I can say is Big Ben > DIP. The Big Ben is in my main rig while the DIP is somewhere in a corner of my house.

If you like the BB now, wait till you get it modified by someone (who has a circle here) to make it even better.
