VERY nice condition HD650s, gently used, excellent working and cosmetic condition. 'Modded' with the judicious addition of a small amount of 'plasticine' (which is a very effective resonance damping material). Mod is virtually invisible but easily removed if desired (if you take it out, you'll probably wish you hadn't). It has no effect on the overall 'signature' and I'll remove it without a trace before shipping if you want me to. Concept is discussed in this thread, mainly in connection with speakers, but the only real difference is the amount of material used (headphones obviously requiring much less material). Here is the original article describing the concept from Frank van Alstine's 'Audio Basics' newsletter of years ago.
