Ever see/hear this speaker?

I guess Von Shweikert designed this new speaker for a company called Flat Panel Speaker Inc. (which is the most boring company name I've ever heard of).

Anybody hear this speaker or know if it's on the market yet?

I'm curious about those crazy green planars that it uses too. It says they have rubber surrounds so they have far more travel than clamped planars, but not info on their range -plus they augment them with bass woofers, midrange cone and a super tweeter so what they're doing in the speaker isn't explained in this link.

And I can't find this company having thier own web site either.

This seems to be similar to the furuyama flat panel drivers, but not the same driver though both are Japanese, similar size, and uh... weird?

Thanks clyde for that link.

There's a nice close up of that new planar, and the info seems to 'imply' that it runs 100Hz to 10kHz, but is augmented at the low end by those small dual mid cones and at the high end by a 1" tweeter (they call it a 'supertweeter' but seeing as it's -3db @ 25kHz it seem just like a conventional tweeter to me.

Seems like those planars would beam above ~4000Hz just based on their width, but guess I'd have to hear 'em to know for sure.

That's looks like a cool driver though... I'd like to know more about it.

They have little computer speaks too, and it's hard to tell, but it seems like those are much narrower in design, meaning I'm thinking they could run full range on the high end and not beam much or at all.

A long line of them would be killer mated to a nice bass cabinet to fill out the low end.
