Hi there I have a mint, 3 months old, SurgeX with four outlets that I don't need as i've upgraded to more expensive stuff.
This piece was dead quiet in my system and had no hum or anything. I didn't notice any degradation of sound or anything, infact I thought it made the the system more "Quiet"!
