I don't think so.  Rendu and Aries are digital streamer hardwares.  You use SonicOrbitor software with Rendu and Lightening software with Aries.  Roon will run both hardwares but you are paying additionally for the third party software,  which may or may not be worth the extra cost.  I think it is but some may not think so.

Rip the CD's lossless to a large USB stick or portable USB drive, and plug it into the Mini. Then just use Tidal for everything else. Other than something I can't find in Tidal I rarely buy a CD or download anymore, and I used to buy a LOT. Now that the ECM Jazz catalog is finally on Tidal, I'm all set

If you already have the CDs, you rip them and store them in a storage connected to your home network (NAS) or directly attach it to your Aris mini (DAS).   You can then access them through your Aris mini or ****Rendu if you go that route.  If you don't have (m)any CDs, the question becomes philosophical and you have to decide what you are comfortable with, like choosing to lease or buy your car.  I personally use both.  Tidal doesn't have everything I listen to but then I get exposed to a lot of new stuff on Tidal.  Bonus for Tidal is that my teenager loves it even if she is listening to it through her phone which doesn't do justice to the extra I pay for the hirez option.
