SOLD SOLD SOLD Living in NE Louisiana, I sometimes have to buy something to try it out. For the past 2 years I have bought and sold several amps, trying to best my Montille 6V6. This First Watt J2 has come closer than anything else I have tried, which include Music Reference, AVA, Carver, Bottlehead. It is so close to the Shindo that I kept it longer than Reno's trial period because I couldn't decide. The bass response is excellent – I can track a bass player with this better than with the Shindo. But I still prefer the beautiful sound of my Shindo and it's glowing tubes- at about twice the price the Shindo should sound better. I purchased this 2 months ago as a demo from Reno Hifi. It is faultless – no scratches, blemishes, etc. It looks and operates like new. Will ship it in the factory box as I received it. Transferable warranty still valid for 2 yr-9 mos.
