Looks like it would be a lot of fun at a rave though you'd have to keep the party goers from trying to inhale the music   :wink:

On a serious note, would hanging speakers help the sound? I would think the fact that they won't couple to the floor is a good thing in general. The only thing I would imagine as a negative would be the bass driver moving the speaker during heavy kicks.
Anyone ever try it here?

Mylar ballons would be very sympathetic to the vibrations from bass drivers. These might be fun at the beach unless they blew away.

I haven't tried it, but Linkwitz on his site does suggest that you could hang the Phoenix midrange-tweeter panel:

Not so sure about hanging bass drivers tho, unless it had push-push drivers.
