Hello, my first post on this particular circle.

Can anyone tell me the suggested retail price of the 2b-sst in US $?
Also, I own a Basie DIY tube preamp with 50k input impedance and 20db gain.  Does that sound like a good match for the Bryston amp?

I'm sorta getting that old itch to upgrade and am considering a solid state amp after living with tube gear for quite awhile now.  Thanks

How about a non PM....I am interested in one of these to drive the rear channels in my HT. I can't get a price on it either. My dealer tells me he doesn't have any pricing info on it. They introduced this thing in September. Sure are moving slow.

The current price is $1695US ($2195 CDN) but you will have to check with your local Bryston dealer as the US price will be changing due to our strengthening dollar..

So I can expect a price decrease when the dollar value turns around someday right?  :nono:

The problem is that they are saying the US and Canadian dollar may go to PAR.
The US dollar has fallen 30% over the past 2 years.

James: Could you help me understand....I have two 3B SSTs on order from my nearest dealer (approx 100 miles).  It has been more than 3 weeks and he still has not received them. I also want a 2B SST and my dealer tells me he cannot even get information from Bryston, such as pricing and availability let alone product.  Does this sound right to you?

I had hoped  these would be a little more available.

Thanks, James. I must say I had heard that Bryston's customer support was very good. I think that is an understatement. You have shown me what I consider outstanding service.

Thank you. Merry Christmas.
