Hi!
I am totally new here, but I am not new to the hobby.
Over the last 30 years or so I've been more or less continually upgrading my system(s) in order to achieve what I percieve as a great sound..
It's been ups and downs in the time spent (and Money) because of other priorities like family, other hobbies and work, but there's hardly ever been more than 3-4 years in between each time I have changed out some Equipment..
To make a long story short I have now settled the main system set up with a NAS (network accessible storage) which have all my Music stored as FLAC.
In addition I have an old CD player as a secondary source.
Both of these are hooked up digitally (optical from the NAS and coaxial from the CD) to an Abrahamsen V6 DAC (Norwegian designer, same man who designed a lot of Electrocompaniet amplifiers).
The output from the DAC goes balanced to a Tortuga Audio LDR1BV25 and on to a modified Parasound HCA-3500 poweramp.
The speakers are PMC PB-1i, transmission lines.
Cables are mostly Blue Jeans.
I hope to read a lot of interesting stuff here, and maybe I can contribute some too..

Best regards from Norway,
Tor-Helge
