On paper, this looks to be a nice AVR for your setup... I know you said you didn’t want Atmos, but check out those neat little Elac’s that you can place on your Mains: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=153983.0

To get zone 2 (or even more zones), you can run your AVR mains to a speaker selector switch (priced anywhere from $20 bucks to $200.00 bucks) then that to your mains and other zone(s).

IMHO, it’s not a ton of money needed to set up a feature that you might really enjoy

Ended up with the Denon AVR-X3400H as I got it for a great price locally. I haven't had time to run Audyssey MultEQ XT32 yet but otherwise so far so good.
