Custom made for Salk Signature Sound for a speaker design that didn't make into their speaker line up. Sub woofer weighs 21 pounds, has 2" voice coil and 2" peak to peak travel and has 84 db sensitivity. Equivalent to TC Sounds Epic 10" sub woofer. Originally $239. now $50. each. 15 are available and are new and in the original packaging.

Are Thiele Small specs available to guide those interested in building up appropriate cabinets?

What a deal.  I can only imagine the $ to ship a pair of them to Canada though...

Great question. Unfortunately, I don't have the Thiel info.  Yes, shipping to Canada would be quite expensive.

Thanks,
Marty

I was thinking it might be fun to build a dual subwoofer with these drivers.  There is a spare plate amp begging to be used in a box on my workbench.

I am very much a novice (idiot) when it comes to calculating the enclosure size.  I attempted to google the formula to try to figure this out, but my calculations make no sense.  Has anyone figured out the correct size for a sealed or ported box for 1 or more of these?  If you don't mind, can you pm me the results if they make sense?  Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,

tom
