Hello
« on: 31 Aug 2017, 06:48 pm »
Greetings to everybody.
I'd like to  introduce myself: I'm more a collector than an audiophile. More into 60's American vintage tube audio than British. I have started to look into the 70's with a music reference RM5 mkii.
Looking for some service info on this well regarded preamplifier.

Welcome.  Seems to be several here with knowledge to help, although, I'm not one.  I had some Conrad Johnson gear at one point, loved it, but it was easy to bias, so I didn't have to do much tinkering.

Thanks for accepting me to this community.
As per my problem with my RM5 preamp (broken winding in the transformer) I see that the Music Reference board is not active anymore: Where would you suggest I post my request of information?

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
